When I found out [I was HIV positive], it felt like the end of the world. I had a job, but I was getting sick on the job. Every time I got sick on the job I was calling in and telling them I couldn’t make it.

I’m moving on with HIV. That’s my work shirt. When I see it I just like to put that shirt on and be ready to go to work every morning.
When I want to go somewhere and just be in my comfort zone, or if I don’t want to see anybody and don’t want anybody to see me cry, I just put my sunglasses on. They help me take my pain away.
I love my phone. This is my lifeline. When I don’t have my phone, I don’t know where I’m at.
It’s not a death sentence. You can live as long as you want with HIV as long as you take your medicine every day. It’s been two years with me and you see I am moving on, staying positive.
